Sitting in the car for the first time was such a blast. The upgraded interior of the 981 was amazing and luckily, I had 18 hours to figure out the radio and the PCM. After a few pictures and a good walk around to take in all the angles, it was time to start her up and get on the road. T was very impressed with the fact that my car was polite and spoke with a nice English accent. It guided us to In-N-Out Burger for lunch. I was amazed to find out that T had never been to an In-N-Out Burger, especially considering that they serve Coke. After a great lunch, taking advantage of the great Arizona weather by eating outside, we started on our way to Kansas City. We headed east with a plan to take advantage of some of the great roads found east of Phoenix to get a sense of the new car, instead of simply setting the cruise and hitting the interstate. We hopped onto Highway 60 heading east out of Phoenix. We got several thumbs up from fellow Porsche drivers, and other car guys, as we made our way down the highway, which is always great.
