After the driving concluded
on Saturday afternoon, intense rainstorms with spectacular lightning and pea sized hail blew through the area. Again, I was thankful for fellow drivers with RVs at the track to be safely inside. The storms passed about as fast as my Boxy made 40-50 mph turns on the racetrack too.
The passing weather front and storms from the night before made Sunday blissful. There was no wind, plenty of sun and cooler temps because of a light, northerly breeze. I knew it was going to be a good day to be on the track.
