exhaust on his 996TT. However, he claiming that it tended to drone slight- ly at certain RPMs. Fortunately, Fred Quintana “happened” to have an extra 996tt exhaust system “lying” around his garage. His 2.5” SpeedTech should eliminate the drone and still sound much better than going back to a stock exhaust system. So a plan was put into motion to meet up after breakfast and change Stan’s exhaust system.

Jones, Club Executive Vice President, Tim Bubniak, past Club President, Fred, Club Driving Chair, Ray Steeble, former Board Member, and yours truly, former Club Webmeister extraordinaire, headed out to Fred’s place to do the swap.
The work was immediately put on hold as Fred’s wife, Cindi, had prepared a pot of coffee and provided donut holes, St Pat’s-themed cupcakes, and something described as “fruit” to fortify us during our labors.
Fred enjoys being in charge of these affairs, and as he’s the only one who knows what he’s doing. We gladly let him. After the  rst round of refreshments was put away, he declared that the exhaust

 On a personal note, I love the FABSPEED on my Boxster. While I was concerned about the cabin noise, it did not bother either my wife or me on a long weekend trip to Colorado Springs a few years ago. I attribute any high-frequency hearing loss to spending too much (or not enough) time in the US Army Field Artillery and my selective hearing to being happily married for 36 years.
