 So, after Fred made the  rst few moves to remove the front bumper to clean the intakes, Stan and T took over in earnest. It is surprising how much junk accumulated in a mere 50K miles. The bumper removal and intake cleaning went very well, with no major incidents. That is, until it came time to reinstall the headlights. Sadly, the left headlight refused to function, leaving Fred to reminisce about his days in Wichita, where it was common knowledge that “it only costs a little more when you do it yourself.” Fortunately, after several attempts, Stan was able to discern that a pin was slightly bent and not making contact. After some  ddling, he was able to straighten it out and the light worked as it should. Obviously, Stan was ecstatic as he would not have to explain to his better half how changing out an exhaust system cost him $1500 for a new headlight assembly.
The rest of the crew did not stand idly by while all of this was going on. Tim did everything a Past President should do, looking bemused while not making snide comments about his successor’s policies or technical abilities. Fred spent quite a bit of time trying to and ultimately succeeding at getting the Sebring Race to display on his X-Box. And Ray cleaned the wheels, inside
