the competition cars up close. We wan- dered around the garage for as long as we wanted.
When we entered the museum, no pho- tography was permitted. Ironically, the 2017 concours winner at Amelia Island would be a car recently acquired by Bru- mos Museum. A stunning car in its own right. Wandering around the museum was an education about the owners and their passion for all types of automo- biles and motorcycles. There was a little something for everyone. The family had recently sold their dealerships and was constructing a new museum elsewhere. The new museum will be a must attend in the future.
Our next move was to view a private collection of European race cars that
had been amassed by an individual over the past few years. His collection was eclectic, to say the least. Some of the cars had competed in the 24 hours of Le Mans and others were rally cars. No photography was permitted. The gentle- man was pretty closed mouth and very discreet about his collection.
After touring the museums, we were directed to the Mayport Naval Base at Jacksonville. There we were treated to lunch. We visited with a lot of people in attendance. We exchanged conversation about the morning. We shared our mu- seum tours and they shared their experi- ences at the Mayport Naval Base.
Our next move was to the airport area of the naval base. There we were greeted with 2 stunning GT3RS cars. We were to
