Financial Secretary Detective Raymond G. D’Amura
As a member of the Detective Bureau promoted out of the 2nd largest borough in NYC, Queens is the most ethnically diverse area in the city. Residents often closely identify with their neighborhood rather than with the borough or city. Each has its own distinct identity. The cultures, landmarks and different choices of cuisine are all the more reasons to appreciate our borough whether it be for working or residing. That’s why the men and women of our Department are best known as the Queens Marines. Queens is home to our very own Italian Charities of America located in Elmhurst, which hosts our general membership meetings. To our new and old members, please join us together in celebrating our great Italian heritage, while working in the most diverse and largest Police Department in the world. It is truly a privilege to serve as your Queens Financial Secretary. God Bless & Stay Safe out there!
