I think my nurses name is Melissa. She could tell I was very nervous and she was so very kind
and amazing. She always had a smile on her face and made conversation with me to help me
feel more comfortable. She is the kind of nurse I want every time I go to the hospital.
Johns Hopkins Bayview has treated me as family in my battle against cancer. I can honestly say
my successful journey beating cancer would not have been possible without everyone
involved in my treatment and follow up visits.
The tech who performed my ultrasound was kind friendly and patient. She explained to me
what we were looking at but also made conversation with me otherwise.
“I got lost driving in from Virginia and the staff was the best in keeping me calm and offering
directions. This doesn’t t happen at the military treatment facilities. Kindness and helpfulness
and courteous go a long way and John Hopkins imaging team proves it all.
"I never have a problem with the Imaging Department. They are always just great! And this
past time during the Coronavirus pandemic, I was pleased to see that there was only one
person in the waiting room besides myself and he was on the far side of the room. So we
were very far from each other. The staff took every precaution to have the machines cleaned
after each person. I felt very comfortable very safe. Thank you for your extra effort."
