to Johns Hopkins Radiology as Imaging

Medical Center.
Dena joins us after spending 12 years working in a large

hospital setting and Level 2 trauma center at Riverside

Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia.
Dena spent the last seven years as the CT/MR Supervisor,

managing a wide range of compliance requirements and

accreditation initiatives including MQSA and ACR while
also implementing new practices in imaging to align with national patient safety goals. Dena was

also an active member of the EPIC EMR build team for health system imaging for CT, MR and

Nuclear Medicine as well as the build and implementation of a new RIS.

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Dena performed a wide variety of general and cardiac
nuclear medicine procedures, as well as PET/CT and breast specific gamma imaging (BSGI)

studies.

Dena earned her Master of Public Administration and Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine

Technology from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. She is a member of AHRA, The
Association for Medical Imaging Management, The American Society of Radiologic

Technologists, and the Society of Nuclear Medicine.
