I met with the Coast Guard while at the fall
Boating & Outdoor Fest at Lake St. Clair Metropark.
There is no set rule, however, he mentioned
that it is the duty of the captain to proceed at a safe
speed at all times and to slow down when there is
traffic or fishing boats in the area.
