POLICE REGISTRATION
If your child is studying in the UK with a tier 4 student visa they may need to register with the police. Your child’s school or college should help with this and should either take your child to the police station or the police will come to the school / college.

TRAVELING ON PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN THE UK
If you think that your child may want to travel by train in the UK they can apply for a 16-25 rail card. This card gives rail travel with 1/3 off the full price ticket. Please see the following link for further information:

If you child is going to to be studying at a college or school in London they may be able to apply for a a Zip Oyster Card which will save them a lot of money. Buses will be free and tubes half price. It is possible to apply for these cards before you arrive in the UK.
