RUSTICATION / SUSPENSION
In the unlikely event that your child is suspended from school we will arrange a host family to look aftem them which you will be charged for.
CONTAGIOUS PANDEMICS
At the time of writing ( June 2020) the UK is gradually coming out of lockdown as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. During this period we took guidance from the UK government and would do this for future issues ensuring the safety of your child is paramount.

EMERGENCY TREATMENT:
If your child feels very unwell or they have a life threatening medical emergency at any time or when staying with your host family (if applicable) they will need to Call 999.
OPTICAL CARE:
If your child needs an eye care check up they may need to pay for this. Boots and Specsavers have shops in many major cities and the cost is likely to be in the region of £25.00. If they need help with an appointment please ask them to contact College Guardians.
PHARMACIES/CHEMISTS
Everyday over the counter medication can be bought from most large supermarkets or for a larger selection Boots or smaller Pharmacies will be able to help.
MEDICATION
If you are sending you child to boarding school with any medication from home or even if they buy medicine over the counter such as Paracetamol/Ibuprofen this must be handed into the boarding house team. It is very important that medicines are not left in their rooms in the boarding house.
