Alice Comes to Hillside

When gentle Alice the camel was put up
for auction we were very pleased when a
kind supporter paid for her to come to
Hillside, saving her from a life in the circus!
Alice found an inseparable friend in Topsy,
a camel rescued from Chipperfield’s
circus who were prosecuted for cruelly
mistreating their animals.
