You can probably imagine just how much hay they are going eat in the winter. We have got a lot of work
to do fundraising to keep them all well fed during the cold weather ahead. If you would like to help

Jasper..

Jasper the stallion was lucky to be still
alive when the horse warden found him.
His back legs had been so tightly bound
together that he couldn't move. A rope
around his neck was tied as if the
intention had been to strangle him. Cuts
to his body were consistent with knife
wounds. He was taken to the horse
pound, where he was treated before being
bought to Hillside. Once in the Sanctuary
he fully recovered from his ordeal. He has

x now been gelded and lives contentedly

with our other rescued horses.
