I knew you were a special girl the day you were born, a 12 ounce
redheaded spitfire in a litter of chunky blondes. You reminded me
so much of your beautiful mama Derby that you just had to stay.
With a brief career as a puppy of promise, Ruby lived up to her
name ‘easy as pie”, finishing her championship in two weekends
with four majors, thanks to handler extraordinaire Kristin Lyons.
Now, after 2 litters and with one pup who recently finished his
championship, Ruby returned to the show ring and is a multiple
Best in Specialty winner. While we are unable to participate in the
Top 20 Invitational this year, we are honored to be among the
qualifiers and hope to be back again.
