Important
Care should be taken at all times to look after your
guitar and it will serve you with many years of
pleasure.
It’s a great idea to have a wiping cloth or an old t-
towel in your kit bag so you can wipe down the strings
of the guitar after each session.
Perspiration, acids and oils build up on the finger tips
whilst you are playing this transfers onto the strings
and fret board, if not wiped off after each session
can make the strings lose tone rather quickly; and the
strings can get rusty too, over time.
When you have finished playing, give the guitar
strings a wipe down and place the guitar on a stand in
a corner of a room or away in its case, somewhere
safe.
The last thing you want is people
tripping over your valuable guitar
and causing accidental damage to
your instrument.
It can be expensive and time
consuming to repair!!
