TEQUILA FESTIVAL

A Ay Chihuahua Beauty Pageant at the 8th Annual Tequila and Taco Fest
on May 1st. The event, organized by Extreme Festival and Events, was hosted
by the Village of Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin, Florida. The chihuahuas
pranced (and one rolled) in front of the judges, who considered their costume
originality, personality, enthusiasm and taco spirit! Nugget won first place with
a $100 gift card to PetSmart in Destin, Coco won second place with a $50 gift
card to Destin Animal Clinic and Ninja won third place with a $50 gift card to
Slick Lips Seafood & Oyster Restaurant in Sandestin. 100 percent of registration
proceeds from the event were donated to Alaqua Animal Refuge in Freeport.
