Characteristics of a Dallas National Member
• High golf IQ, including pace of play
• A Club-first attitude – it is a privilege and honor to be a member of Dallas National
• Respect for other members, our associates, and DNGC
• Comports himself with integrity and a positive representative of DNGC, both at and away from
the Club
• Additive to Dallas National – the Club is better by having the candidate as a member
• Dedication to the Game – in general, breaks 100 and is committed to game improvement
• Breadth and Depth of Relationships – the candidate has known DNGC members for a long time
and/or has had exposure to a wide variety of DNGC members
Application Process Overview
• Sponsor will contact the Membership Director to request relevant information packet and forms.
• The Membership Committee will review all applications for initial approval to officially begin the
Candidate application process.
• After initial approval is received, referring members with a minimum of one year standing may
submit letters of recommendation.
• A minimum of 4 quality letters of recommendation are required.
• The Sponsor will visit the Membership Committee to answer questions and expand on their
relationship with the Candidate.
• The Candidate must spend an unlimited number of in-personal visits with the Membership
Committee.
• Should a Candidate receive a validated negative response from a Member(s), or does not receive
the necessary level of support, they may be withdrawn from the process. The Membership
Director will advise the Sponsor, should this arise.
• When the Membership Committee and Board of Directors consider it appropriate, relevant
Candidates will be approved for membership at Dallas National and the Sponsors will be advised
accordingly.
