Lesson Plan
1. Warm-up: ‘Shake Your Sillies Out’ performed by The Wiggles See spring lesson one.
* Running time approx. 2 mins.
2. Stretching and curling: Elephants Spraying Water See spring lesson one.
* Running time approx. 3 mins.
3. Travel to Danceland: ‘Pegleg Pete’ performed by Brandon Fiechter See spring lesson four.
* Running time approx. 4 mins.
4. Introduce the theme: ‘Let’s Make a Circle’ written by Anne Porter Without speaking, get the children into a circle by singing ‘Let’s Make a Circle’ as in spring lesson one.
Ask the children if they can remember what they learnt about in last week’s lesson. Ask a volunteer to tell you about something special that they made for Easter. Act out making the suggested gift as a group. Ask two or three more volunteers and repeat.

6. Choreographed dance: ‘Peter Cottontail’ performed by Easter Gang

8. Working with Props: ‘Sleeping Bunnies’ (traditional)
Take out the “imaginary parachute”. Sing the song acapella and practice gently and slowly moving it from side to side during the verse then lifting it up and down in time with the pulse during the chorus.
