Page 29 - Term Three Drama Lesson Plans
P. 29
The children, as eggs, slowly hatch and the emerging chickens waddle around the room clucking.
Teacher: What shall we be this time?
Ask a volunteer to suggest another animal that hatches from eggs. Everyone curls up and repeats the activity, this time emerging as the suggested animal. Repeat until you have hatched into approximately five different animals. There is no need to teach the rhyme as it’s repetitive and so the children should naturally pick up on the words as you progress through the activity.
