“Now we’re going to be the postie delivering letters. Everyone help me to knock on the floor to make the sound of the postie knocking.” Make a fist and knock on the floor with both hands for “rat tat, tat” as you sing the verse two times.
Rat tat, tat, here comes the postie, Rat tat, tat, they’re at the door. Rat tat, tat, there go the letters, Rat tat, tat, outside the door.
“And now we’re going to be the person who delivers our milk! Everyone help me to clink the bottles together to make the sound of the milk carrier” Hold an imaginary milk bottle in each hand and clink them together for each “clink” as you sing the verse two times.
Clink, clink, clink, here comes the milk carrier. Clink, clink, clink, they’re at the door.
Clink, clink, clink, there go the bottles,
Clink, clink, clink, outside the door.

8. Moving around the room: ‘Rescue Me’ performed by Fontella Bass “There are lots of special people who help to rescue others. What sort of rescue vehicle does a police officer drive? What sort of rescue vehicle does a fire fighter drive? What sort of a rescue vehicle does an ambulance officer drive?” Play the track and act out driving the vehicles you have just mentioned one at a time. Then act out being a flying doctor in a helicopter, a police officer on a horse and a water rescuer in a boat. N.B. Please ensure that you use a mixture of male and female or ‘they’ pronouns.
