When you wake up in the morning at a quarter to three, And your mind starts humming tweedle dee dee,
Pause and look confused. “What do you do? I’ve forgotten!”
You brush your teeth ch ch ch ch ch, ch ch ch ch ch, You brush your teeth ch ch ch ch ch, ch ch ch ch ch.
When you wake up in the morning at a quarter to four, And you think you hear a knock at the door,
Pause and look confused. “What do you do? I’ve forgotten!”
You brush your teeth ch ch ch ch ch, ch ch ch ch ch, You brush your teeth ch ch ch ch ch, ch ch ch ch ch.
Repeat the song as before except leave out the pauses where you forgot to brush your teeth. Instead, pause before each number, encouraging the children to tell you the time. Make sure to hold up the correct number of fingers to give them a clue.

6. Create the story

Opening line: “One day Pia woke up and her mummy and daddy were very busy, so she had to get ready all by herself!” Instead of asking a volunteer to tell you “what happened next” (as per weekly activity break down), ask, “Who can tell me what Pia did first?”

7. Act out the story

8. Moving around the room: ‘Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go’ performed by Wham!
Ask four volunteers to remind everyone of something we do in the morning to get ready for the day. Play the track and act out performing the suggested activities one by one. You then lead the children in performing your own activity ideas.

9. Travel back to the real world and give out magic sparkles
