When handing out props (for example scarves) always sing “Time to hand out the scarves, the scarves, the scarves. Time to hand out the scarves at insert birthday child’s name’s party,” to the traditional tune of ‘Here We Go ‘Round the Mulberry Bush’. 3-4s: “Hi everyone. Firstly let’s all say thank you to Child’s Name for inviting us to his/her birthday party by giving him/her a great big round of applause! My name is Minion Sparkles. Everyone say ‘Hello Minion Sparkles’! Today I’m going to teach you all about minions and at the end, everyone who joins in will get some magic sparkles and a Haribo treat! But before we begin, we’ve got to shake our sillies out!”
5-6s: “Hi everyone. Firstly let’s all say thank you to Child’s Name for inviting us to his/her birthday party by giving him/her a great big round of applause! Does anyone know what I’m dressed like? That’s because today we’re going to learn all about minions! And at the end, everyone who joins in will get some magic sparkles and a Haribo treat. But before we begin, we’ve got to shake our sillies out!”
