To listen to music of different styles and from different cultures which capture particular moods

To explore different ways of moving including running on tippy toes like a butterfly and to encourage children to move with controlled effort by using associated vocabulary including “slowly” (arms), “lightly and quickly” (feet)

To participate in a familiar and predictable routine (we always travel to Danceland at this point in the lesson)

To negotiate the space by adjusting speed and direction to avoid obstacles when running like butterflies
