To practise gross motor skills through tapping various body parts and to practise locomotor skills through running on tippy toes, creeping on the floor and jumping

To tap in time with the pulse and to perform a new action for each verse and chorus (emphasising song form/structure)

To negotiate the space by adjusting speed and direction to avoid obstacles including other children
Strength and Fitness
To develop cardiovascular fitness through performing a high energy activity and to develop strength in legs through jumping and running on tippy toes
8. Working with Props: ‘The Bunny Hop’ by Easter Gang
EDUCATIONAL aims
PSED (MR)
The children and teacher play with matching items (egg shakers) and mimic each other in a cooperative game play
PSED (MR), (SC/SA) & (F/B) EAD (BI)
To take turns in wearing bunny ears and pretending to be the Easter Bunny, hopping around the world to deliver Easter eggs to the children
CL (LA)
To develop listening and attention through the use of props (egg shakers), repeated sequences and through listening for a signal (counting to three and shaking shakers on the three accented beats)
CL (U) & PSED (MR)
To understand and participate in a game involving several stages and sequences
PD (MH)
To practise the locomotor skill of jumping
PD (MH) & EAD (MM)
To develop fine motor skills, manipulative skills, coordination and control through gripping onto an egg shaker and manipulating it to perform rhythmic movements in response to the music

To count to three out loud and to punctuate each number with a shake of the egg shaker
