Motor Skills
To practise fine motor skills through stirring the dough and pretending to draw crosses with both left and right pointer fingers, and to develop gross motor skills through pretending to put buns in the oven, spreading them with a topping and taking a bite out of them
Musicality
To move in time with the pulse and to internalise the feeling of a crotchet rest through biting the buns during the crotchet rests

EDUCATIONAL aims

To develop coordination and control through moving the body in several different ways including bending, wiggling, crouching and tummy rubbing, to develop finger dexterity through pointing and to practise the locomotor skill of jumping on the spot and in a circle

To engage in the body tension activity of stretching and bending down

To encourage children to be active and therefore improve fitness through performing a high energy dance with lots of jumping

To follow the choreography instructed by the teacher
