To move feet in opposing directions and to slowly move arms above head whilst also clenching and stretching fists

To improve flexibility in legs by sitting with legs straight out in front

To develop fine motor skills in hands and feet

To move hands and feet in time with the pulse
Strength and Fitness
To develop strength in the stabilising muscles in the ankles and in the calf muscles

To count that there are four seasons

To move ‘lightly’ and ‘quickly’ on tippy toes, to move freely and with pleasure like a snowflake, to develop finger dexterity through twinkling fingers and to develop the locomotor skill of jumping

To engage in the body tension activity of stretching and to negotiate the space while running on tippy toes and floating like autumn leaves around the room by adjusting speed and direction to avoid obstacles (including other children)

To encourage children to be active and therefore improve fitness

To follow the choreography instructed by the teacher

To understand the concept of each season through associated actions
