Lesson Plan
1. Warm-up: ‘Shake Your Sillies Out’ performed by The Wiggles See summer lesson one. Make sure to use lots of energy!

2. Stretching and curling: Moody Cat See summer lesson one.

3. Travel to Danceland: ‘Sleeping Beauty Waltz’ written by Tchaikovsky & performed by Czecho-Slovak State Philharmonic Orchestra

4. Introduce the theme: ‘Let’s Make a Circle’ written by Anne Porter Without speaking, get the children into a circle by singing ‘Let’s Make a Circle’ as in summer lesson one.
“Can anyone remember what we learnt about last week? Let’s all make caterpillars with our fingers.” Everyone does this at the same time. Ask two volunteers to show you their unique way of making a caterpillar on their own and then the group copies. “Let’s all make butterflies with our hands.” Everyone does this at the same time. Ask two volunteers to show you their unique way of making a butterfly on their own and then the group copies.
