Director Jan Talacko says he’s been benchmarking the possibilities for them
for a while. “We’ve been involved in analysing energy-efficiency of the housing
and providing advice about systems,” he said. “It now has all the hallmarks of
achieving these aspirations.

“There’s still work to do, but its great that a company like Beulah has used this
opportunity to commit to a carbon neutral development, and I commend
them for that. This kind of commitment will hopefully become commonplace
over the next couple of years – it has to if we’re to meet the challenge of climate
change – and it’s certainly being driven by both purchaser expectations and
developers as the holy grail.”
