It rang again, you know the calling.
It reminded him of the waves
The adrenalin that fueled his actions
It rang because it saw him again.
How pieced he became
It all felt wrong to exist with such demeanor
He felt absent and unsure
Where was the shoulder he needed?
Why did time tick backwards?
Why did it ring once again?
Did it stay up and wait for him?
It rang again, and he answered
“Hello”, he said
“I just wanted to say goodbye”,
BANG!!!!
And that was the last time it ever rang.
