• Embedment in mortar beds (minimum): 50 mm.
• Placement: Sloping slightly downwards towards outer leaf, without bending. Drip
centred in the cavity and pointing downwards.
• Spacing: Staggered in alternate courses.
- Horizontal centres: to suit depth of cavity .
- Vertical centres: to suit depth of cavity .
• Additional ties: Provide within 225 mm of reveals of unbonded openings.
- Spacing: At not more than 300 mm centres vertically .
