INDICATIVE BILLS OF QUANTITY
Drainage & Piped Services Schedule of Rates
INTRODUCTION

1 The following indicative Bills of quantity have been prepared on a typical indicative drawings
as detailed in Appendix H

2 Note ,CDM drawings are "INDICATIVE ONLY" and should be used as a guide to establish
the nature and extent of the works

3 Please refer to the Architects detailed drawings for the areas of work to be undertaken on this project
4 Any bill item not reflected in the Architects drawings should be struck out. ie If no works are planned to the Crew

area then please strike out this section out.
5 All Bill items must be priced if they form part of the works
6 The D&PS Contractor will be responsible for the DESIGN AND BUILD of the Drainage & Piped Services
7 The soil & waste system to be designed in accordance with current Building Regulations and BS 12056
8 Hot and cold water installations are to be designed in accordance with 'The Water Supply (water fittings) Regulations 1999,

the Water Byelaws 2000 (Scotland) and the recommendations of BS 6700 & BS EN 806
9 Works are to comply with the current McDonalds Purely Simple Specification
10 The Contractor is to advise the Project Manager of any existing works that do not comply with Regulations whether they affect

the current works or not
