D3 Drive Thru (Exterior)
Timberline Signage
The drive thru sequence has a
minimum and prescribed set of signage
required for operation as follows:
- Height restrictor; denotes the entrance to the
drive thru sequence and limits the use of the
lane from high sided vehicles.
- Pre Sale; menu boards located in advance of
the order point to advise customers.
- COD; customer order display with or without
canopy.
- Price menu board; located immediately after
the COD (and in view), displaying prices.
- Booth window surrounds; timber effect panels
highlighting the pay and collect points of the
drive thru journey.
- Banner frames; large scale promotional
banners facing onto the roadside, into the
car park and prior to the start of the drive thru
sequence.
Goal post height restrictors
Occasionally, the kerb layout on sites or shear
width of the drive thru entrance prevents the
effective use of gateway or timberline height
restrictors. In such cases, simple goal post
arrangements should be installed. Goalposts
can be used with ERDDS and timberline signage
suites where site conditions dictate.
