Strategy:

Develop and implement a custom designed flexible sample fulfillment process for each customer
where SEI is transparent to our customers’ customer and to nurture close-knit, long-term, mutually
beneficial business partnerships with customers and suppliers

Services are facilitated via a tightly controlled, extremely comprehensive, highly automated
database system, designed, built and maintained by the principles and officers of the company. SEI
has continually been innovative in the use of advancements in technology by using data
management resources to automate and control the fulfillment process. SEI’s database system
operates in “real time” and in tandem with it’s customers’ and contracted carriers’ systems
providing instant electronic generation and transfer of all information, documents, forms, labels,
reports and shipment tracking information necessary to the process, including: Air Way Bills,
Dangerous Goods Forms, SDS, Certificate of Analysis, Tech Data Sheets, Sample Labels, Commercial
Invoices, Customs Declaration, Reports, etc.

SEI is one of the industry’s largest shippers of dangerous goods and is on Federal Express’ Top Ten
Exporters List in the Southeast US Region. SEI and FedEx developed a custom, in house, open
database network system allowing our shipments instant routing and custom’s clearance processing
world wide.

SEI is an active member of the Dangerous Goods Advisory Council, the Conference on Safe
Transportation of Hazardous Articles, and the West Georgia Safety Council. All employees involved
in packaging and shipping Dangerous Goods are trained certified and licensed DG Shippers. SEI
utilizes DOT registered, custom designed, tested and certified Performance Oriented Packaging.
Sample Express is committed to sustainability using recyclable packaging and containers.

The company’s Owner and founders actively manage the day-to-day business. SEI’s customer base
is diverse including basic chemicals, products engineered for aerospace, special adhesives and
coatings, pharmaceuticals, food and feed additives, agriculture, electronic, and temperature
sensitive producers.

SEI has molded a management team with a broad spectrum of talents into a focused
“entrepreneurial” enterprise. Backgrounds of key individuals range from 25 years in the specialty
chemical business with an extensive background in all business management aspects including
manufacturing, logistics, distribution, purchasing, sales and Environmental, Health and Safety; 35
years with a Fortune 50 company culminating as a division president and bank board chairman;
extensive experience in data collecting, processing, reporting and IT design and implementation;
supervision of a Fortune 50 company’s human resources and records management process; 30 years
of marketing and managing strategic sales for one of the largest chemical companies in the world;
plus a packaging expert versed in unique packing and shipping requirements such as dangerous
goods, Department of Transportation (DOT) and International Air Transport Association (IATA).
Together this team brings over 175 years of experience to the table.
