Thank YOU for being more than just a math teacher because let’s be real nobody likes MATH
teachers, ha! Ryley talked about you often and the connection you had with “your kids” was real.
So thank you for being a teacher, role model, and friend to my daughter.
Take care and enjoy the summer and let’s hope for a semi normal new school year!

Hey, Mrs. Ranum
Greetings from quarantine! I just read your end of the year letter, it's very touching
and full of heartfelt. I enjoyed having you as my math teacher this year, even if the
5th hour was a little... well, crazy. I miss being able to ask you questions about
things I'm not quite sure about... cause even if I didn't say much during class you
would help with my questions until the "oooohhhhh! I get it!" lightbulb went off. I
kinda wish I talked more about something other than math though. Being a crafty
person and seeing your drawer full of glitter set off artsy fireworks! So I hope some
time we can make a sparkly craft!
I thank you for being such a great math teacher over my 8th grade year, especially
since I'm not so great at math yet. I hope next year you get more great students,
cause it's a no brainer that you deserve it... being a teacher that changes students
lives forever. I believe there is never a limit to how much you can care for others,
but if there was a boundary you would have already surpassed it when it comes to
your classes. So I may not have Snapchat, Instagram, or Tik Tok... but that doesn't
stand in the way of me knowing that you will go the extra hundred miles to help
your students. Even if it can be a bit cringy sometimes.
Have a great summer, and I'll miss you!

Hi 8-Blue Teachers,
I just wanted to send this email as a thank you for being such amazing teachers. I really enjoyed
this year and miss all of you a lot. Thank you for always being so kind and considerate to each
student. I loved having you all as teachers and hope that we can all see each other again
someday. Thank you for always helping me learn and grow as a student. I couldn't have done it
without you all. I wish this year wasn't cut short and that we could all say goodbye to each other
in person. Thank you for everything! Sincerely,Layne Zastrow
