What does
child-centered
learning

Child-centered learning is an
approach that allows the child to
be an active participant in the
learning process instead of
simply a recipient of the
information provided by a
teacher. Children are encouraged
to steer the learning experience
by asking questions, searching
for answers, reflecting, and
critically evaluating the
information they discover.
Students demonstrate a more
profound sense of learning by
applying their knowledge to
service and positive action.
