Thorn In The Heart
had sing under the full moonlight, while we were bailing water
out of the pond to the rice field. The day of our laugh in the field
that may echo toward the stars on the sky.
We went anywhere in the countryside of the peaceful,
worked together on the field, sang together beside the large foot
tree at the breaker time under the hot sun. You were always
beautiful beside me with your face without powder and lipstick.
You were lovely with your laugh, tender by your eyes and I
forget anything around evens me to look at you and fell in love.
We loved one of other and dreamed a lot of the thing for our
future and children; then we married for these dreams. It was
enough for me after you were my sweet wife, walked along on
the life with me and built our future with the simple dreams in
the peaceful.
My wife....! It was not as our dream now...! The war came to
any places, killed a lot of people, destroyed the whole country,
and made economic crisis on the society.
I knew you loved peace not war. Also, you never wanted to
see me going into the war because nobody could claim to be the
winner on this dirty game that came from the crook politicians.
They lied to the people for profits and power. They advantaged
the people to make their agenda and not make an agenda to help
the people.
The crook politicians said and promised everything to the
people as a cake that they drew on the papers with much more
excellent plans. The people were dreaming of the paper cakes,
but they could not eat it. They see and dream only...! Like
French colonials, they had promise with the Vietnamese people
for equal right, but we still were slavery for them. They said
they would give back independent to Vietnamese people, but
when will they practice the democracy in this country?
