Thorn In The Heart

             "I  love  you  too.  Remember!  Do  not  worry  and  sorry
         anything!  Love  our  life  and  fighting  to  keep  it  alive  and
         happiness until dead."   Quang said.

             "Yes... Yes..." Nguyen replied, then he looked at Quang.


             “I  heard  your  base  at  Cu-Hanh,  Pike.  Why  you  came  in
         here?" Nguyen asked.


             "War broke anytime into anywhere,  So I could fly without
         place limit.  Sometimes they needed us to reinforce the troops at
         anywhere.  I volunteered to fly back Ban-Me-Thuot. It  was our
         hometown."  Quang replies.


             "Quang, Good luck."

             "You too."

             Three  years  late  while  Nguyen  was  walking  in  the  rain
         without an umbrella, on the Ly-Thuong-Kiet street at afternoon.
         He kicked the water in the small pool on the sidewalk, stepped
         on the morass, ran in the water drain. Sometimes Nguyen looked
         up to the sky, smiled, and remembered back the high school time
         with  his  beautiful  dream  of  life.  He  dreamed  of  peacetime
         without war. The people were loving, sharing either to built up
         country.  He  and  his  friends  will  be  a  small  brick  of  all
         foundation  to  carry  out  the  good  thing  for  the  country.    His
         dream was to be a writer to compliment, to promote the beauty
         of  nature  and  love.  He  will  write  about  the  strength  of
         humankind that used to face with the natural power to survive.
         Or be a teacher to tell the children about truth, to tell the young
         man about the future of our country and together we can make a
         difference...  Nguyen  was  singing  the  old  foreign  song  that  he
         had  to  learn  a  long  time  at  high  school,  some  words  he  was
         forgetting, even he forgot the name of the musician who wrote
         the song: "When I was a little girl, I asked my mother what will
