who lived in My-Lai village have driven out of their house toward the
space on the ground, even children and infants that were carrying on
their mother arms after few American soldiers died and wounded.
They were down on their needs on the ground to implore a squad of
American army troops for their lives. They were cried loudly and
bonding together by afraid to die. Few of American soldiers were
hostility for Viet-Cong, a crisis for their dead friends, feared to die
and the My-Lai's people didn't cooperate with them to denounce
Viet-Cong.
Because My-Lai's people believed that American troops could
not keep Viet-Cong away from their village at any time, or help them
in a safe place if they inform American troops about Viet-Cong's
hiding places or someone who mixed in their group. Also, they didn't
think that American troops will kill them for one reason or another.
They were very hard to make a decision and choose because they
were so afraid of both sides and didn't know what the safe side place
that they will stand for their situation is?
- Viet-Cong was like the jaws of death. They were always living
beside the people as the shadow of lives. They will kill or torture
people any time like the mad-dogs. The people were painful
suffering every day from the war speared on the country. So many
civilians who were living in the countryside, they died without reason
by Viet-Cong's terrorism. Another was American troops, who came
to the village by their operation to find and resist Viet-Cong. They
came with their full power to destroy everything on earth, to shake
the people lives. Some time they raped a young woman, kill the
people with their innocent then gone and they left the devastated,
war crisis behind them for the victims of war and the people will die
more and more by Viet-Cong's terrorization...!
The My-Lai's people were always quiet for both sides. So they
died with the extreme of afraid, their voice echoed into the air while
few American soldiers were shooting at them with their cold blood.
The My-Lai's people were human shield by the American's bullets M-
60, M-16 and took a turn to fall on the ground with blood over the
