Dragon & Fairy In Poetry
WHEN I AM DEAD
When I am dead, I don’t see by eyes
But I do view thoroughly from the skies;
Each attitude, gesture, and action,
Good or bad, I perceive without abstraction.
When I am dead, I don’t hear by ears
But I do perceive each breath in the spheres;
The expression of poor pain or merry mirth,
I recognize all audibly over this earth.
When I am dead, I don’t say by sound
But I do speak noiselessly, no voice around;
However, who is not a witch nor a fay
Can understand what I mean right away.
When I am dead, to become a wind, a cloud,
Soul joining the country’s sacred spirit proud
I pray for land’s advantage & people’s unity
And time and tide soon serve the opportunity.
When I am dead (a drop of water in the ocean
Originating from rivers & springs: its notion);
Each human has his/her family, kith and kin,
So my soul would bless my children within.
