The book, Catching The Moon, is about a girl named Marsinia that dreams
about becoming a professional baseball player. She sets many goals for herself. She
plays a lot of baseball and she loves everything about it. She is very athletic and
persistent. When Mr. Street asks who would like to join the baseball team, Marsinia
raises her hand, but Mr. Street said he doesn't allow girls on his team. So every day
Marsinia would give it her best on the baseball field. One day, she was in a game and
she decided to touch home and she did. Mr. Street went up to her and said, “You can
join my club as long as you have your own equipment.”, but when she went home her
father said we couldn't afford baseball shoes. So the next day, Marsinia told Mr.
Street that she couldn't join the team. She continued playing even though she wanted
to cry. The next day Mr. Street called Marsinia over and gave her some baseball shoes
so she could play on the team. Mr. Street said, "I want you on my team. You a good

player." And she was able to join the team. She became a great baseball player.
