Suddenly she started to feel warm and comfor ng light. She couldn’t see
the source, but it was welcoming and bright. The walls of the alley were lit
up cheerfully and her worn dress seemed to turn into a beau ful dress and
for once in her life she felt happy.

Meanwhile, as the wind con nued to howl, the li le girl showed no signs of
coming back to the house. Her mother started to worry about how she was
doing because a er all, she only had a thin dress to protect her from the
cold.

Her friends, who were also extremely worried about her, set off to find her.
As they ran through the winter snow, their strong determina on pushing
them through the bi er wind un l they came across the frozen body of the
li le girl, si ng in a back alleyway, the tears streaked upon her face turned
to ice. However, there was a content smile on her face.
