Sea water can also be polluted!
          Marine environments are affected by human activities:
              spillages of oil which can seriously reduce oxygen levels on the seabed as well as
              reducing waterproofing properties of seabirds' feathers
              radioactive compounds from cooling of nuclear power stations
              temperature changes caused by global warming.









           1 Detergents often contain phospholipid, which can be broken down to release

              phosphate. Use this information to explain why we should not use too much
              detergent and soap when washing clothes, cooking vessels and ourselves!
