"Which way must I go?" I asked and he showed me
a winding road.
As I walked three demons met me and asked, "What
lessons did they give you?"
I told them the commandments of God given to me.
They tried to destroy the words, but I said, "I will not listen to you," and continued on my way home.
When I regained consciousness I found my wife and
a neighbor lady had sat by my bed over half a day expecting
my death at any minute. My wife asked, "Will you try to drink a little milk?"
"Yes," I answered, "and not only milk, bring me some food."
Then I s^w the goat tied to a log near the head of my bed on the instruction of a wizard and said, "First you must release the goat, I will not eat until you take that goat out of here."
She cried, "You have lost your mind. I don't want
you to die, and if I untie the goat you will because the medicine the wizard put on it will kill you."
I remained hungry. My brother came to see me
Friday morning. I told him, "I am healed, but will you
please take away this goat?"
Shocked by my request he refused and left. Too
weak to get up and untie the goat, I feel like I am beaten by a big whip of hunger. I knew my strength would return if I
