came because of Tekle's witaess. They invited, "Come spend the day with us, and we will study the Word of God
together."
They promised that Tekle would be coming soon and we could discuss the scriptures again then. When Tekle came
with Solomon Lodamo and taught us, we realized we must not withstand the truth. I reasoned, "Though this lesson is true, I have already been baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost, I will travel in this faith without being baptized in the Name of Jesus."
Tekle took Teshome and Solomon to the river to
baptize them, and I went along to watch their clothes as they are baptized. While watching, I heard a voice say distinctly,
"When the light is green, vehicles can go forward safely; if
they go against the red light, accidents will happen."
As the words came repeatedly, I looked to the right and the left and could see no one. I sat down on the ground and the voice spoke once more, "If you are not baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of your sins, you are
going against the red light."
I sat there in such confusion I did not know when the
ceremony ended, but as they started up out of the water, I shouted, "Stop! Stop! I must be baptized." Afterward I testifted how God spoke to me.
At the service later that day. Brother Wendell asked me to lead the choruses and I can still remember the
powerful anointing of the Holy Ghost that swept over me. Two years later I began to preach the Gospel and Jesus
wonderfully multiplied the believers.
Then our enemy, Satan, attacked the infant church
twice to destroy it with division. The second time, we suffered many hardships and much agony. When I pondered
