CHAPTER SIX
SOLOMON'S TESTIMONY
No matter how strong, prayerful, and distinguished
a preacher may seem to be, there is no abundant life outside
the church of the Living God. As trillions of cells make up
the human body, so each of us is a cell in the body of Christ.
A second body cannot be found in the scripture. Since
coming back to the church, I clearly understand that to be
disfellowshiped from the church means to die a spiritual death. Looking back to those desolate years apart from the
body brings me shivers from hell.
As one of the first converts to the true Gospel, I fell
in love with the truth. I had a good job with many benefits such as free boat excursions, extensive travel, and holiday
bonuses, but when my faith in Jesus Christ cost me my job, I counted its advantages as nothing and cherished the truth.
The Lord gave me utmost spiritual joy, true apostolic love. We enjoyed a great oneness of spirit among our brethren. Jesus provided for all of my needs, and living, working, and moving in the church seemed like paradise to me. Our brothers and sisters fulfilled the scripture in John 15:12: This is my corrmuxndrmnt, that ye love one another, as
