 CHAPTER SEVEN
ASHENAFI ANDARGE
It is hard for thee to kick against the pricks (Acts
9:5).
I remember the accepted day of my salvation in 1970
when Brother Teklemariam baptized me in the deep waters of Lake Awasa for the remission of my sins and I received the Holy Ghost. When I arose after burying the old Adam and becoming one with Christ by putting on His living body, the power of the resurrection and the joy of the Holy Ghost became greater in my soul than words could express. I must
say thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift.
When the call came to preach this true gospel, I
accepted it without hesitation. The God who separated me from my mother's womb and saved me by His grace made
me ready to go. My faithful God did not repent of His grace and the call; He took care of me from the day I obeyed Him. I lost nothing. He helped me advance my ministry along with other brothers.
However, we did not understand the secret of subjection to the leaders of the living church of God which
