1986: The Lafayette Central Catholic Knights (Head Coach: Steve Bennett) complete an undefeated  regular season.
               They will lose to Lafayette Jeff in the Sectional & finish w/ a record of 21-1.
                     a.  Mark Jewell (Lafayette Jeff) is named Mr. Basketball & will play basketball @ Iowa  &
                         Evansville.
                     b.  Al Harden (Covington) is named to the Silver Anniversary Team.
                     c.  Joe Sexson (Arsenal Tech ‘52 & former Head Coach @ Southwestern) is enshrined   in the
                         Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.
