Message from the Principal

Dear Readers,

Welcome to the digital edition of Cornice, our literary
magazine 2022-23 which showcases the exceptional talent and creativity of our
students.

Since 2021, we have gone digital and each grade has its own class magazine with
different design and content ideas. This opened up new opportunities for creativity
among students. Teachers could plan out the magazine with their students and come
up with unique designs.

Thus Grade IX brings to you Echo. Each student from Grade IX is represented in this
magazine. The magazine is completely bilingual in the true RBS tradition reflecting
their skill and creativity. Students who took key roles got the opportunity to experiment
with various design ideas, and I must say that the end product looks quite exceptional.
The work of bringing out the magazine involves a lot of teamwork and collaboration
for the students who took key roles from assigning and editing to layout and design.
They worked well with their mentor Ms Nilima Manandhar and Bir B Uperkoti and
learnt a lot in the process. Thank you to Ms Nilima Shakya, Ms Bushra Rehman, Mr
Tikaram Sharma, Ms Indira Dahal and to the Coordinator Ms Rekha Pandey for their
support.
I am immensely proud of every student who contributed their work to Echo. I encourage
all the members of our school community to go through the literary pieces that our
students have crafted.
I want to express my appreciation to our dedicated editorial team, composed of both
students and faculty members, who worked tirelessly to curate, design, and bring this
magazine to life. Their meticulous attention to detail has resulted in a publication that
showcases the immense talent within Grade IX. Congratulations to the students who
contributed to the magazines and to those who took specific roles in bringing the
publication to fruition:
