“With Stormont re-opening the government have the
opportunity to release the unrealised potential that
community pharmacy has to address the challenges
faced by the health service in NI. Part of my role is to
understand how Numark can support members and
highlight the market leading propositions that will
ensure their business thrives.
The last few years have been tough for our members
with no platform to negotiate a new contract and
rising costs associated with both Brexit & the
pandemic hitting hard.
Thankfully working for Numark and PHOENIX
we can offer additional help and support with all
our propositions to benefit them, along with our
commercial offerings.
We can help with all aspects of purchasing, which is one of
the main concerns, with our IT buying platform, PharmAssist.
This is an electronic buying solution that gives you control,
compliance and drives profitability on all purchasing,
saving time and money. Once pharmacies place their order,
PharmAssist will select the most cost-effective supplier
for each product and cascades the order for them. This
also includes many additional features which helps protect
purchasing for them like the Drug Tariff Review feature that
advises them of any generic which is above the current drug
tariff price, and they can then make a choice.
Our members have had to find new income sources outside of
the contract and private services are a fantastic opportunity.
When getting the right PGDs to work for you, like Weight
Management, Travel, Ear Wax Removal and Vaccinations
supported by our fantastic booking platform, HasHealth, the
opportunities are endless. HasHealth helps you organise and
prepare for the delivery of your services to reduce the workflow
and increases profit. We have developed this by introducing
screening questions to reduce time and provide a convenient
solution to manage bookings and provide a convenient
platform for members to book the many services available in NI.
