In every member interaction, my focus is on delivering
tangible savings through the Numark membership.
Recently, a member expressed gratitude for my
assistance in refocusing his purchasing priorities.
This member recently joined our PI switching
proposition, Nuswitch which allows members to
take advantage of PI pricing and a member discovered
significant savings with a single product saving him £30 per
pack vs the branded price. In this particular circumstance, the
member was referring to our price on Ursofalk Tabs 500mg
but by having Nuswitch working for him in the background,
the switch was automatic and didn’t require any time or
focus in relation to sourcing.
In addition to this saving, I was also able to show this member
further savings to be had through our Numark Brand Support
Deals for which he was very grateful as both of propositions
work hand in hand to support our members in increasing
margin through supporting with their procurement process.

Another way we are supporting our members to generate
increased income is via their front of shop. Many of our
members are unaware of the extensive Numark own brand
range. Delivering enhanced margin for our members and great
value for their customers. On a recent visit with a member,
we both noted how the new own brand packaging set us
apart from products sold through discounters. Our range
allowed him to provide customers with choice and value
across all categories. I would implore all members looking
to maximise their retail income to speak with the pharmacy
development manager as we can support with range, category
management and margin.
With the majority of pharmacies being Numark members in
Northern Ireland and having a PHOENIX account we pride
ourselves on how clear and transparent we are. We are always
looking at how we can improve and help. I am constantly
giving feedback to the team in Numark and PHOENIX, and our
Belfast depot is always helpful and quick to respond.”
